Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide that naturally occurs in the body's connective, epithelial and neural tissues. The majority of the hyaluronic acid found in our bodies is present in the skin; here it binds with water molecules to keep your skin well-lubricated and moist. Hyaluronic acid is also the active ingredient in the dermal fillers we use in our injectable procedures. Hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers’ results typically last from 4-12 months depending on a variety of factors, some of these include your metabolism, heat exposure, smoking status etc.

Note: The dermal filler itself can be present in the tissues for much longer than your results will last.

The use of hyaluronidase is available should the rare eventuality of a medical emergency/compromise occur when a client is treated by us.

You will also be a given a list of post-operative instructions to follow after your treatment has been conducted; it is your responsibility, as the patient, to follow these instructions in order to prolong the longevity of the treatment and to reduce any risks.
